Privacy
The shortest policy we could write.
Tezara is built so there is almost nothing to have a policy about.
No accounts, no server
There is nothing to sign up for and nowhere to sign in to. The app has no backend; we could not read your data if we wanted to, because it is never sent to us.
Everything stays on your device
Your birth details, your chart, your assessment results, and your connections are stored in a file on your phone, and nowhere else. Deleting the app deletes them.
The only thing that travels is what you send
Star cards, readings, and card images leave your device only when you choose to share them, through your phone's own share sheet, to the person you choose. Birth data never rides along on a card.
No analytics, no tracking, no third parties
The app makes no network requests. There are no analytics libraries, no advertising identifiers, no crash reporters, and no third-party services of any kind.
The camera, when you ask
The camera is used only when you choose to scan a friend's star card, and the image is processed on your device. Nothing is stored or transmitted.
No tracking cookies, no identifying analytics
We set no advertising or analytics cookies and run no scripts that identify you. Our hosting providers keep standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP addresses) to operate and secure the service, as all hosts do.
Questions about any of this are welcome: send a thought. This page was last revised on July 8, 2026; if the policy ever changes, the change will be visible here.
